Meta Ads, Google Ads and Synoria.ai voice agents for Providence College for Women (Autonomous), Coonoor — built around one idea: give every family in the Nilgiris and the Mettupalayam corridor a reason to choose the hills over the plains.
The college already has the two things that matter most and cannot be bought: a 59-year reputation and a campus that photographs beautifully. The website establishes that presence well. What we add now is the conversion layer beside it — a place for an ad click to land, a system that answers every call, and a warm audience waiting on 1 January.
Four inputs from the college: the exact 2027–28 fee for every course (aided and self-financing), hostel fee with room photos, the full scholarship list, and 15–20 named alumnae outcomes. Tamil Nadu families convert on specifics. Everything else waits on this.
Owner: College office + ProPlus Logics · Unlocks every other step
A focused campaign page that sits alongside the main site and does one job: convert an ad click. Mobile-first, Tamil and English, fee card visible, short enquiry form, sticky WhatsApp and call buttons. The website tells the story; this page takes the enquiry.
Owner: ProPlus Logics · Success test: submissions land in the CRM sheet and on WhatsApp
GA4, Meta Pixel with Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, a dedicated call-tracking number and a UTM naming convention. Put in first, it makes every month afterwards smarter. Put in later, January’s learning is gone.
Owner: ProPlus Logics · Non-negotiable before launch
Deploy now, in the quiet months, so it is trained and proven before January volume arrives. Tamil and English, 24 hours a day, answering what no office can: after 5pm, on Sundays, and forty simultaneous calls in results week.
Owner: Synoria.ai · 50 live test calls in November
One two-day shoot in October, while students are still on campus and the mist is at its best: hostel, mess, library, labs, morning assembly, the 420-species grounds, five student testimonials in Tamil, one parent, one principal. That single shoot feeds nine months of advertising.
Owner: ProPlus Logics + student volunteers · Target: 40 usable clips
Load the Google Business Profile with 30+ campus photos, answer the real admission questions in the Q&A, and run a review drive with current students and recent alumnae. Target 50 reviews before January — enough to make Providence the most-reviewed college in the district.
Owner: College office + ProPlus Logics · Zero media cost
Run video-view and reach campaigns across the Nilgiris and the Mettupalayam corridor from November. We are not buying enquiries yet — we are building a retargeting pool of tens of thousands of warm viewers, so January’s lead campaigns launch against an audience that already knows the campus. This is the single biggest efficiency lever in the plan, and it only works if we start before January.
Owner: ProPlus Logics · Success test: 25,000+ video viewers in the audience by Dec 31
Campaigns are won at the phone, not in the ad account. Agree the rules before January: every enquiry called within the hour, three attempts across three days, WhatsApp brochure on first contact, campus visit as the goal, one person accountable for the sheet. Then run a December dry run with 30 test enquiries end to end.
Owner: Admission committee · Dry run week of Dec 15
January is the month applications open, not the month families decide. Most girls choose after the Tamil Nadu HSC results in May. So January’s job is to collect and hold a database — and then stay in touch with it for five months. Build for a long nurture, not a one-month blitz: a January enquiry nobody speaks to again until June is an enquiry a Coimbatore college will happily take.
The Nilgiris is one of Tamil Nadu’s smallest districts. A women’s college here is not only competing with the college down the road — it is competing with the bus to Coimbatore. Three distinct markets, three different jobs for the advertising.
Coonoor, Wellington, Aruvankadu, Ketti, Kotagiri, Udhagamandalam. Day scholars from Tamil-medium government and aided schools. Cheap to reach and quick to convert — and the group most actively courted by Coimbatore colleges promising placements.
Mettupalayam, Karamadai, Sirumugai, Annur, Gudalur, Pandalur, and across the borders into Wayanad and Gundlupet. For these families the hill climate, the women-only campus and the hostel are the product. The only market with real headroom.
Seven master’s programmes, M.Phil and Ph.D. routes, PG Diploma in Aviation Management, Diploma in Cyber Security, and short skill courses. Higher value per head, an older buyer who decides for herself, and a different channel entirely — searchable, not scrollable.
Providence sells a safe, affordable, autonomous degree in the hills — close enough to home that a mother can visit on a Sunday. Every single ad must prove one of three things: that it is safe, that it is affordable, or that it leads somewhere.
Six segments. The student is the discovery audience — she finds the college, saves the reel, sends it to her friends and shows it to her mother. She rarely decides alone. Reach her on Reels and YouTube; never with a fee-structure ad.
Tamil-medium government or aided school, +2 Arts or Commerce, modest family income, wants a degree without leaving home. Decides on bus route, fee, and whether her school friends are going too.
Would otherwise commute to Coimbatore or take a PG room there. The hill campus is an aspirational upgrade she can actually afford. Highly responsive to hostel-life and campus-atmosphere content.
Sits between three states’ admission systems and often misses Tamil Nadu counselling cycles. Malayalam or Kannada at home, Tamil at school. Direct admission is a genuine relief for this family.
Daughter of tea-estate or farming families. The college’s Unnat Bharat Abhiyan village work already reaches this community — a real advantage. Scholarship eligibility, not headline fee, is the deciding variable.
Holds a UG degree, wants M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Com (CA), M.A. Economics or a Ph.D. route. Searches Google by course name. Decides alone and fast, on syllabus and faculty rather than campus beauty.
Wants Tally, Android app development, cyber security, beautician, tailoring or organic farming — short, affordable, immediately useful. Modest ticket value, but excellent lead-magnet fuel and a warm pool for degree enquiries in the same household.
Split the account the way the decision actually splits: the student discovers, the parent verifies. One creative cannot do both jobs.
His first and last question is who is responsible for his daughter at 9pm. Women-only campus, resident wardens, hostel security, attendance discipline, and a named person he can call — that is the entire pitch.
She is comparing a full three-year degree at Providence against a Coimbatore college plus rent, food and travel. Put the arithmetic on screen: course fee, hostel fee, scholarships, total. She will screenshot it and forward it to the family group.
“After B.A. History, what?” This parent needs the destination, not the course. Answer with teaching, TNPSC and bank exams, PG on the same campus, and named alumnae. A published outcomes page settles this conversation in one click.
Chooses an institution for its character: the 1966 founding, the management’s values, a women’s empowerment mission with 15,810 alumnae behind it, and real village outreach. This audience moves on community and referral — ads support that, they do not replace it.
Never run one campaign at “18–55, all genders”. Run a student campaign (17–22, Reels, atmosphere, English and Tamil) and a parent campaign (35–58, Facebook feed and video, Tamil, proof, call CTA) with separate budgets, creative and reporting. Judge them on different metrics: the student campaign on cost per video view and saves, the parent campaign on cost per qualified call.
Three concentric rings, three different messages. At this scale precision is the budget strategy — a single ad shown across all of Tamil Nadu wastes most of its impressions.
| Ring | Places | Message | Share | Language |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 0–25 km | Coonoor, Wellington, Aruvankadu, Ketti, Lovedale, Kotagiri, Udhagamandalam, Yedapalli, Burliar | Hold the ground. “Your degree, 20 minutes away.” Fee, bus routes, friend groups, named schools. | 30% | Tamil |
| Tier 2 25–80 km | Mettupalayam, Karamadai, Sirumugai, Annur, Periyanaickenpalayam, north Coimbatore, Gudalur, Pandalur, Devala, Cherambadi | Grow. Hostel life, hill climate, total cost of studying here versus the city. Highest headroom of the three. | 45% | Tamil + Malayalam |
| Tier 3 80–200 km | Erode, Sathyamangalam, Bhavani, Gobichettipalayam, Tiruppur, Nilambur and Wayanad (KL), Gundlupet, Chamarajanagar, Mysuru fringe (KA) | Hostel narrative only. Aviation Management and Cyber Security travel furthest. | 15% | Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada |
| Statewide PG only | Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Salem — Google Search only | PG Diploma in Aviation Management and Ph.D. programmes. No Meta spend here. | 10% | English |
In Google Ads set location to Presence: people in or regularly in your targeted locations. The default also includes people merely interested in the place — and the Nilgiris is a tourist district. That one setting protects a large share of the search budget.
On Meta, a 30 km radius around Coonoor plus a 25 km radius around Mettupalayam outperforms a single district-wide target — two distinct messages to two distinct mindsets.
“Mettupalayam-la irundhu?” consistently outperforms generic copy in regional education advertising. One variant per Tier-2 town — same video, six different opening lines.
Search volume in this district is modest — and that is good news. Clicks are inexpensive and the category is largely uncontested, because the government colleges admit through the state TNGASA portal and do not advertise. The goal is to own every search that exists rather than chase volume.

There is a large, heavily-searched Providence College in Rhode Island, USA. On broad match the brand campaign will start absorbing American traffic within days. Add rhode island, usa, friars, basketball, ncaa, providence university, providence school, providence hospital to negatives on day one, and lock the account to India with Presence targeting.
Meta is where this account is won. Google captures the intent that already exists; Meta creates the demand that does not — particularly along the Mettupalayam corridor, where no family is currently searching for a college in Coonoor.

Reels and Stories carry regional education advertising. Shoot 9:16, crop 4:5 for feed. Carousels only where the reader needs to swipe through facts — fee comparison and course lists.
A Tamil-speaking father will not fill an Instant Form; he will send a WhatsApp message. Click-to-WhatsApp produces fewer but far higher-intent conversations — and it is the natural handoff into Synoria.
Use the higher-intent form type with three qualifying questions: course, +2 group, and day scholar or hostel. Raw lead cost rises a little; cost per qualified lead falls, and counsellors stop spending January on wrong-fit calls.
Colleges do not lose admissions in the ad account. They lose them in the 48 hours after an enquiry arrives — when the office is handling walk-ins, the line is engaged, it is 7pm, or it is a Sunday. A Tamil-and-English voice agent that answers instantly is not an add-on to this proposal. It is the reason the media spend converts.
Meta Instant Form, WhatsApp, Google form fill, or a missed call on the admission line.
Tamil or English, selected automatically — while she is still holding the phone.
Course, +2 group, marks band, hostel or day scholar, district, parent’s name and number.
Offers real slots from the counsellor’s calendar and confirms on WhatsApp.
Speaks only to qualified, booked, warm families — not to four hundred cold numbers.
Reminder calls, document checklists, results-week follow-up, no-show recovery, last-seat calls in July.
Meta Lead Ads webhook → Synoria → CRM sheet → WhatsApp confirmation to the student and a separate message to the parent’s number. Google Ads call extensions and the landing-page call button both route through the Synoria number with call tracking. Every call is recorded for the college’s review — and those recordings become the best source of new ad copy, because parents state their objections in their own words.
Eight stages, each with one owner and one number. The volumes below are planning assumptions for a full cycle — every one of them gets replaced with measured data after four weeks of live campaigns.
Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook video across Tier 1–2. The student sees the campus; the parent sees the proof. Owner: media buyer.
Instant Form, Click-to-WhatsApp, landing page, or a direct call. Owner: media buyer.
Synoria calls back inside 60 seconds; three attempts across three days. Owner: Synoria. Target 80% contact rate.
Right course, right +2 group, reachable district, real intent. Owner: Synoria → CRM. Around 35% of enquiries.
The parent moment — a campus visit, or a parent call with the counsellor. Owner: college counsellor. The true conversion event.
Application plus documents. Owner: admission office. Synoria chases incomplete applications daily.
Fee paid, seat confirmed. Owner: admission office. Reminder calls between selection and joining prevent late drop-off.
Every admitted girl films one clip in her first month. Owner: ProPlus Logics. The 2027 intake becomes the 2028 creative library at no media cost.
Illustrative model for a full cycle. Volumes scale with budget; the financial assumptions behind them sit in the Budget section. Validate against the college’s actual intake history before these figures go to the management.
Providence has two competitor sets, and the more significant one is not local. The colleges nearby take a share of the district. The Coimbatore women’s colleges take the most ambitious girls — and they have the marketing budgets.
The only other women’s college in the district, about 20 km away, competing for the same girl on the same promise. Ooty gives it the town-centre advantage; Coonoor gives Providence the Mettupalayam corridor.
Near-zero fee, admits through the state portal, does not advertise — it takes the most price-sensitive students automatically. The answer is not price. It is placement support, autonomy, faster results and campus experience.
Same town, free, co-educational. Relevant because families comparing Providence will name it first. Prepare a direct, respectful comparison answer for counsellors and for the FAQ page.
They own the Gudalur–Pandalur–Devala belt and the Kerala border traffic, and both are co-educational. This is why Tier-2 targeting must reach Gudalur with a hostel message rather than a proximity message.
A deemed-to-be women’s university with national recognition, drawing the highest-scoring girls from across the western districts, the Nilgiris included.
Consistently among the top-ranked women’s arts and science colleges in Coimbatore, with a strong placement narrative and a polished digital admission funnel. The aspirational default for a Nilgiris family that can afford it.
A values-led women’s college — the closest match to Providence’s own positioning, with a city campus. Families choosing on character and discipline will shortlist both.
Heavy, sustained digital advertising through the season with placement-led messaging, at budgets many times this one. Do not fight them on placements — fight on total cost and safety, where they cannot compete for a Nilgiris family.
Run every competitor through the Meta Ad Library and Google’s Ads Transparency Centre to see exactly who is advertising, on what creative, and since when. Note each one’s Google review count and whether their fee is published. One afternoon of work turns this section from a strategy view into a scoreboard that can be re-run every month.
Seven openings this market has left unguarded — and most of them cost nothing but attention.
The district’s single most marketable asset — climate, calm, safety — is not being sold by anyone. A well-shot mist-and-campus campaign has no incumbent to displace, and Providence has the best campus in the district to shoot it on.
They admit through the state portal. That leaves the entire local search inventory — “arts college coonoor”, “degree college nilgiris” — effectively uncontested and inexpensive to own outright.
Their geo-targeting rarely extends past Coimbatore. The Mettupalayam–Karamadai–Sirumugai corridor is contested by nobody — and it is the ring with the most headroom in the whole plan.
The whole category advertises to students in English and hopes the parent follows. A Tamil warden interview and a total-cost card aimed at 40–55-year-olds has no competitor equivalent in this market.
Very few colleges here put named alumnae outcomes online. The first institution to publish honest, specific destinations wins the parent conversation outright — and with 15,810 alumnae, Providence has more material to draw on than anyone.
A push to 50–100 genuine Google reviews would make Providence the most-reviewed college in the Nilgiris within a single season. Free, durable, and it lifts the conversion rate of every ad that runs.
Not one competitor in this market runs a voice agent. Synoria converts a service gap into a structural advantage that cannot be matched simply by raising an ad budget.
The institution and its story are already in place. What follows is the conversion layer built around them — each item earning its keep from the day the campaigns go live.
| Asset | What we build | Why it matters | When | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Admission landing page | A focused campaign page beside the main site — Tamil and English, fee card, short form, sticky WhatsApp and call buttons | Gives every ad click one clear action instead of a general browse | Oct | Critical |
| Online application + payment | Application form with document upload and online fee payment | Removes the trip to campus from the first step — decisive for Tier 2 and 3 families | Nov–Dec | Critical |
| Published fee card | Course-wise fees, aided and self-financing, hostel, scholarships — one clean page | Transparency is the strongest conversion lever with Tamil Nadu parents | Oct | Critical |
| Outcomes page | Named alumnae destinations, higher-studies routes, government-exam successes, recruiters | Answers the one question every parent asks, and almost no competitor answers online | Nov | Critical |
| Hostel page | Real room photos, mess menu, warden, security, rules, fee, visiting policy | The hostel is the product for Market B — it deserves its own page | Nov | High |
| Google Business Profile | 30+ campus photos, Q&A filled with real admission questions, weekly posts, 50-review drive | Free visibility on every local search, and the cheapest edge available in this district | Oct | High |
| WhatsApp Business API | Business number, greeting flow, course catalogue, automatic brochure, Synoria handoff | WhatsApp is where the parent conversation actually happens | Nov | High |
| Measurement stack | GA4, Meta Pixel + CAPI, Google Ads conversions, call tracking, UTM convention | Every month of spend afterwards is optimised instead of guessed | Oct | Critical |
| Video library | Campus tour, course explainers, alumnae interviews, principal’s message — on YouTube | Feeds the ads, the landing page and the retargeting audience from one shoot | Nov–Dec | Medium |
| Local SEO & schema | CollegeOrUniversity schema, Coonoor and Nilgiris landing content, course pages indexed | Compounds free traffic year after year, unlike paid media | Dec | Medium |
| Directory listings | Claim and complete Collegedunia, Careers360, Shiksha, CollegeDekho with current data | These pages rank high on brand searches — they should tell the college’s own story | Nov | High |

Quote it as three independent lines so the college can approve them separately: (1) a one-time setup and asset build covering the landing page, measurement stack, campus shoot and campaign build; (2) a monthly management retainer from October through August; (3) the Synoria.ai subscription as its own line. An optional performance component per confirmed admission attributed to the funnel is usually an easy yes for a college board — and it shares the upside of the season being built.
One number the management cares about — admissions. Everything else is diagnostic, and every number below has a named owner.
Many admissions will be recorded as “walk-in” or “a relative told us” even when an ad began the journey. Add one mandatory field to the application form — “How did you first hear about Providence?” — from the very first day, and have Synoria ask it on every call. Without it, the campaign gets under-credited in exactly the month it is working hardest.
This plan needs a website team, a media team, a creative crew and someone to answer the phone in Tamil at nine at night. Most colleges end up hiring four suppliers and refereeing between them. Here, all four sit in one building in Coimbatore — sixty kilometres from the Coonoor campus.
The landing page, the tracking, the campus shoot, the ad accounts and the voice agent are built by the same people. Nothing gets lost in a handover between an agency, a developer and a call centre — which is where most college campaigns actually fail.
Synoria.ai is our own platform. No other agency bidding for this work can put a Tamil-and-English voice agent on the admission line that answers in under a minute, at midnight, on a Sunday, during results week. This is the part of the plan that cannot be copied by simply raising a budget.
Tamil-first creative, Malayalam and Kannada for the border belt, and a team that understands what a Coonoor parent is actually asking when they ask about the hostel. Regional education marketing is not a translated version of a metro campaign.
A live dashboard from day one, a one-page WhatsApp summary every week, and a full review every month. Spend, enquiries, campus visits, applications, admissions. No black box, and no report that only shows the good months.
Reach and impressions are diagnostics. The number this engagement is judged on is confirmed admissions attributed to the funnel — and we are willing to put part of the fee on it.
Everyone else will pitch you in January when admissions open. This plan starts in October, because the audience that converts in May has to be built in the quiet months. That difference is worth more than any discount on media management.
Approve the October foundation sprint — the fee card, the admission landing page, the measurement stack, the Google listing and the two-day campus shoot. Everything in this document follows from those five items, and all five can be finished before the students leave for the semester break.
